Stockdog Herding Camps are a great way to get lots of working time with your dog. It's a great place to troubleshoot issues and learn new skills. Learn from other handler and dog teams. In past camps we have worked on ranch skills like sorting, holding gates, driving, keeping stock off food, pressure release techniques, pasture gathers and more! We also work on fine tuning training to prepare for trials and more precise work.
Each dog and handler team will get individual attention, lots of work time and customized training to meet their individual needs. It is a great time of learning and socialization for dogs and humans!
Cattle, sheep, goats, ducks and geese available to work. Each camp we will work on real life ranching work like: sorting, holding gates, pasture gathers, holding stock off feed, small pen lot work, and more!

NEW Camp Registration Policy (Effective January 1, 2026) 2025 was an epic year for CAMP attendance! Most of our camps have filled, resulting in long waiting lists. To ensure fairness and address a higher-than-acceptable no-show rate, we are instituting a new policy for CAMPS ONLY: A $50 non-refundable deposit is now required for all CAMP registrations. The deposit may be applied to a future camp only if you contact us to cancel at least 5 days in advance.
🚨 Note: If you "No-Show", you may be blocked from future sign-ups.
Safety for students, dogs, and livestock is our priority. If the weather looks bad, please check my Facebook page or text me before driving out.
🚨 Reminder: The weather in Frost may be different than your local weather—always check the Frost forecast!

Thanks for the hospitality! I enjoyed the day and the people. I appreciate your input. Glad to be on this dog journey with mostly like-minded people. Looking forward to the next time!
