Stockdog Herding Camps

2025 is all about the Stockdog Herding CAMPS & Special Events!

Herding Camps were very popular in the past few years, so we will continue the tradition. I am limiting my individual lessons and focusing on holding 2-3 day camps and events here at the ranch. All levels are welcome at any of the camps listed below. The longer format of the camp allows students lots of time on stock, immersion style! We have several Special Events Planned this year.

Stockdog Herding Camps- What You Need To Know

Stockdog/ Farm & Ranch Camps/ Clinics at Arcadia Ranch- Frost, TX

All levels welcome- from beginner to advanced
Camps are 2-day events

Stockdog Herding Camps are a great way to get lots of working time with your dog. It's a great place to troubleshoot issues and learn new skills. Learn from other handler and dog teams. In past camps we have worked on ranch skills like sorting, holding gates, driving, keeping stock off food, pressure release techniques, pasture gathers and more! We also work on fine tuning training to prepare for trials and more precise work.

Each dog and handler team will get individual attention, lots of work time and customized training to meet their individual needs. It is a great time of learning and socialization for dogs and humans!

Cattle, sheep, goats, ducks and geese available to work. Each camp we will work on real life ranching work like: sorting, holding gates, pasture gathers, holding stock off feed, small pen lot work, and more!
